Project Brief
The first project of this semester is combining two key ingredients: your passions and skills on one side and commercial thinking on the other. You will create a volume of high quality assets that are ready to be sold through a dedicated e-shop environment that serves other graphic designers and all sorts of visual arts professionals including companies and agencies. The project has several layers and you will control all of them.
Search tools allow users to find specific results, but what if that’s not the goal? What if the goal is to get inspired by other people’s creations that are loosely categorized by vague terminology? For my first studio project studying abroad in Prague, I created Swim. This app allows users to toggle their search based on two words and what would fall in between them with a slider tool. These words can either be chosen by the user or shuffled randomly. By utilizing a slider tool, users can see the posts change in real time based on where the slider lands.
