In this assigned project conducted in a First Year Design Studio, I studied human movements and proposed ways of emphasizing specific actions through the design of a paper wearable. Focusing specifically on the hip, I designed a mechanism that creates a ripple effect when a user lifts their leg and tilts their hip. Through this project, I learned the benefit of creating, evaluating, and revising multiple iterations of an idea to inform and strengthen my work over time.
